The Research and Development Office (RDO) successfully conducted the Statisticians’ Accreditation Program under the Research Mentors Accreditation Program (ReMAP) 2026 on October 14, 2026, at the Engineering AVR.
The program aimed to strengthen the competencies of the University’s pool of research statisticians through discussions on the roles and responsibilities of research statisticians, the fundamentals of research statistics, and the application of statistical methods in research. Participants also engaged in a hands-on statistics workshop designed to reinforce their knowledge and practical skills in supporting research projects.
The accreditation initiative highlights the vital role of statisticians in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and rigor of research findings, enabling researchers to draw meaningful conclusions from data and produce credible scholarly outputs.
Through ReMAP 2026, the RDO continues to promote professional development and uphold high standards in research support and mentorship.
